Eroding Eigg
During the summer I got the opportunity to visit some islands off the western coast of Scotland with Sail Britain. We explored the nature of islands and what makes them special, including their unique geology and wildlife. These works are inspired by the changing landscape at the magical singing sands on the Isle of Eigg. The bay is filled with caves, arches, honeycomb-weathered cliffs and deep eroded fissures formed from constant erosion by wind and sea, from the cave to the pebble to a grain of sand.
