Layered Time
A rock is an object of mystery as we try to comprehend its permanence against our transient state. Water, sky and rock combine to explore how time can be viewed in multiple ways within the landscape, the sea being tidal, the sky seen to change daily and the rock formed over millions of years. The chalk, created by ancient sea creatures is now being eroded by new ones in an ongoing cycle of life. The water moves over the surface of the rock and sculpts it into its current form. The landscape ever evolving and eroding over time.
